While discussing my photographs I had come to an evaluation that my photographs did not correspond to my project due to the fact that my grandfather was only in one of the images whereas he needed to be in them all making sure that they linked clearly to my project (Life of a Land-rover Mechanic).
It was Sunday 22nd April 2018, I had a spare piece of film left over so I gathered a camera the Friday before (20th) and I decided to go and re-shoot my photographs, to make sure my grandfather was directly in them all.
During the morning of this shoot, it was an incredibly sunny day, I had everything I was aware of correct, I made sure the bar within the pentax camera was central every time I took a photograph - I had the correct aperture and iso, anyways I had finished my shoot about mid-day with the sun still bright in the sky, I was pleased with the photographs I had taken and couldn't wait for the development of my film.
I came back to college a day early so I had time to develop my film before the following day, it was to make sure I wasn't in any rush - I did the typically steps of developing a film, developer, fix and stop - and then wash, it is a long process but worth it when the film comes out and all your photographs are perfectly exposed however after washing my film and unravelling it from the container I noticed how dark each photograph was compared to my last negatives, I didn't understand what went so wrong, I had everything I knew about correct (well thats what I thought) anyways I left my negatives to dry over the night and continue my project the following day.
